I’m really excited about this next workshop! Jellyfish have such a gentle, ethereal quality, and I love the challenge of capturing their beautiful iridescence and translucent, see-through qualities using just fabric and thread.

This is a chance to use less fabric than you might normally use in my workshops and let the background shine through in places. We’ll combine fabric with delicate thread painting, allowing the stitching to create some of the beautiful detail, movement and transparency of the jellyfish.
